Hi everyone! πŸ€—

This week I have the opportunity to practice my problem-solving skills and I’m very happy with what I have learned and done.

β€” β€” β€” πŸ“ Preparing an Interview πŸ“ β€” β€” β€”

Making an interview is not an easy task, you need to know what you are expecting from the candidate, what are the topics you are allowed to ask, how you would create your questions to squeeze until the last drop of talent and, the most important aspect, how would you make your interviewee confident.

This time I was full of knowledge by preparing the questions, as you need to know any possible correct answer and be able to provide hints to incentivize the correct answer.

Interviewing is like peeling an onion

β€” β€” β€” πŸ”₯ Problem-solving πŸ”₯β€” β€” β€”

As a software engineer, you should have the ability to solve complex issues with the most convenient implementation. It is impossible to practice how to solve any problem out there, and for that reason, the best way to achieve that goal is to know how to solve any problem.

As I was practicing with hacker rank issues I realized that all have one factor in common, the description precise what needs to be done and what is expected. Maybe everyone realizes it from the beginning, but often many people, including myself, do not put enough attention and detail into this part, leaving some chunks of useful information behind. I admit that I missed some key details that if I realized earlier I would not spend the30 minutes looking at my code solution asking what is wrong.

Also, another technique to solve the problem with the best possible solution is to ask ourselves how could I make this better, and start a brainstorm without any type of filter, some crazy ideas would work!

β€” β€” β€” β›° Final Thoughts β›° β€” β€” β€”

I still have a ton of issues and knowledge in front of me, and I am very excited and thankful for being on a career path that allows me to grow as much as I want.

Thank you for reading until here!

See you! πŸ‘‹πŸ½
